Gene Myers is a poet and journalist living in Northern New Jersey. He writes a syndicated weekly column, The Joy of Life. His columns and interviews appear in dozens of newspapers and magazines. He is the features editor at Suburban Trends newspaper and co-editor of Now Culture literary magazine (nowculture.com). His poetry has appeared in various publications. He was recently awarded First Place in Arts and Entertainment Writing by The New Jersey Press Association.
